10. Shipping & Delivery
10.1 The shipping method for your purchase is determined by the type of item ordered. We will do our best to present accurate arrival dates, but if you are ordering something not currently in stock, these dates may change. We apologize for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
10.2 Orders within EU region
We aspire for our products to be utilized globally, and to support this objective, we aim to establish a worldwide shipping policy, contingent upon its feasibility.
Our shiping methods are:
- GLS: Smaller parcels (including many lamps) ship via GLS, delivered Tuesday–Saturday. Typical delivery is 2–10 business days from shipment date. Other shiping methods can also be arranged.
11. Force majeure
11.1 If an extraordinary situation arises that is beyond our control, or if fulfilling the obligation has become unusually burdensome for us due to unforeseen or external events – which can be considered as force majeure or hardship – our obligations will be suspended. The duration of the suspension will be as long as the acute situation lasts. Examples of force majeure and hardship include natural disasters, fire, war, requisition, seizure, currency restrictions, riots, civil unrest, pandemics, shortage of transportation, general scarcity of goods, fuel restrictions, government orders, disease outbreaks, health crises, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, or production disruptions from suppliers, for which we cannot be held responsible.
In cases where circumstances are deemed force majeure, no claims can be made against Hallas Design ApS as the seller – including for delays. At the same time, no claims can be made against the buyer as a party to the transaction if force majeure is involved.
If force majeure or Decias-related restrictions occur and last for more than 60 days, both parties have the right to withdraw from the agreement. However, of course, payment still needs to be made for goods already delivered.
